Revised Storyboards- Environment

Revised Storyboards- Family & Friends

Doraemon faces

Feedbacks from last class- storyboards + character

Family & Friends Storyboard-
-Don't have Mon have his fingers plunged into his ears but have him walk away with earphones
-Show the sun rising from an outside view of the house
-Make the brother and the dog separate

Environment Storyboard-
-The events occurring take too much time
-Hyperbolize it and various scenes of dumping trash
-More apparent cause and effect plot is needed
-Don't cut to Mon's face to much (too much unnecessary repetition)
IDEAS
-Mon throws things pulled out from his pocket and have various scenes of things being flown into the mid air... The scale of these item get larger (ex.: from paper to a TV). So we don't really know where these junks end up but for sure he isn't disposing them in the right way.
Mon comes home and the things he threw away fall from the sky.

Character-
-Consistant style: the leg and the arms need to match in style
-Big mouth
-Make the eyelids become a blend to the face
-No nose
-Eyes are too far apart
-Needs shoulders

Revised Storyboards- Environment

Revised Storyboards- Family & Friends

Feedbacks from last class

On the Family & Friends storyboards:
-Make it a brand new day
-Let the audience know that he works at a market first
-Take the setting out of the house
Ideas:
-Mon wears a uniform
-The family shuts the door on him
-Mon finds a certificate in a pile of letters on his bed instead of the dog giving it to him (bc if the dog gives him a good news he wants feedback- he would not be just ignoring and sleeping when Mon happily waves the letter)
-A scene of Mon leaving the market
-Mon ignores one person a day

On the Environment storyboards:
-Don't repeat Mon's "careless face scene" after each trash dumping scene
-Multiple shots of Mon dumping and missing the bins
-Make larger scale trash

On the character developments:
-Too heavy, too scary
-Flat graphics; no drop shadows; simpler
-Make him look more adorable by making his forehead larger, eyes apart and such..
-Needs to become approachable and more clueless
